Más de 1300 participantes de 35 países europeos se reunirán esta semana en Zagreb (Croacia) para una edición trascendental del Campeonato Europeo de Combate de Universidades. El torneo se llevará a cabo en la capital de Croacia del 31 de julio al 4 de agosto. Jóvenes karatekas de toda Europa están listos para mostrar sus habilidades en el evento.
Los Campeonatos Universitarios Europeos de Deportes de Combate que se celebrarán esta semana en Zagreb marcan la primera vez que cuatro campeonatos continentales a nivel universitario se celebran como un evento conjunto. Considerado el mayor evento de deportes de combate para estudiantes de educación superior en Europa, el Campeonato de Combate de Universidades Europeas de 2019 presenta competiciones de judo, karate, kickboxing y taekwondo.
El torneo de Karate se llevará a cabo en el Salón Bojan Stranić, ubicado cerca del pueblo de atletismo. No menos de 31 países y 183 universidades estarán representadas en la competencia de Karate. Los combates comenzarán el jueves 1 de agosto y las finales están programadas para el sábado 3 de agosto.
Over 1300 participants from 35 European countries will meet this week in Zagreb (Croatia) for a momentous edition of the European Universities Combat Championships. The tournament will be held in the capital of Croatia from July 31 to August 4. Young karatekas from all over Europe are ready to show their abilities at the event.
The European University Championships in Combat Sports to be held this week in Zagreb mark the first time that four continental championships at university level are held as one joint event. Considered the largest combat sports event for higher education students in Europe, the 2019 European Universities Combat Championships feature Judo, Karate, Kickboxing and Taekwondo competitions.
The Karate tournament will be held in the Bojan Stranić Hall, located near the athletics village. No less than 31 countries and 183 universities will be represented at the Karate competition. The bouts will start on Thursday, August 1, and the finals are scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd.
