Torneo de karate internacional de este año “Baku Open” está dedicada al 20 aniversario de la Federación Nacional de Azerbaiyán Karate. Esta es la quinta edición del Open de Bakú, la primera Baku Open se celebró en 2010.

Baku Open 2014 se llevará a cabo del 12 al 13 de septiembre 2014 en Bakú. La intención de este torneo internacional es reunir los mejores atletas en cadete, categorías junior y senior de la parte oriental de la Europa, así como de los países Asia y en todo el mundo. El premio total para la edición de este año de Baku Open es de 70.000 € en relación al 20 aniversario de la Federación Nacional de Azerbaiyán Karate y al patrocinador general de la federación y el torneo – Banco Internacional de Azerbaiyán.

La parte más interesante de este caso es el equipo nacional de Azerbaiyán en sí. Será interesante ver cómo los campeones de Europa de selecciones actuales se están preparando para el Campeonato del Mundo que se celebrará en Bremen, Alemania a principios de noviembre. Además, este es un buen ensayo para la organización de los primero Juegos Europeos que se celebrarán en Bakú en 2015, donde el karate también se llevará a cabo al lado de todos los deportes olímpicos.

Baku Open 2014

This year’s international karate tournament “Baku Open” is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Karate Federation. This is the fifth edition of Baku Open, the first Baku Open was held in 2010.

Baku Open 2014 will be held from 12th to 13th of September, 2014 in Baku. This international tournament is gathering the best fighters in cadet, junior and senior categories from Eastern part of the Europe as well as from Asaian countries and all over the world. The total prize pool for this year’s edition of Baku Open is 70,000€ regarding to 20th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Karate Federation and to general sponsor of the federation and the tournament – International Bank of Azerbaijan.

The most interesting part of this event is the national team of Azerbaijan itself. It will be interesting to see how the current European team champions are getting ready for the World Championship which will be held in Bremen, Germany in early November. Also, this is a good rehearsal for organisation of the 1st European Games which will be held in Baku in 2015, where karate will also take place beside all olympic sports.
