The calendar of the Karate1 Premier League for 2015 has been disclosed. A total of 8 events are planned. As it is the case since the creation of the WKF Premier League, Paris will open the season in January, and this year Okinawa will do the closing and unveil names of Grand winners for 2015. Many events of the previous edition (Paris, Almere, Istanbul, Hanau, Salzburg and Okinawa) have been renewed and two new events will join the Premier League series this year: Egypt and Brazil.

Sharm El-Sheikh Open becomes the first Premier League event in Africa

The first Premier League event in Africa has been expected since a long time by the whole continent and represents an important step for African karate. This first open will be hosted in Egypt, one of the leading countries of the last World Senior Championships. It will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh on February 28 & March 1, a few weeks before the European Senior Championships in Istanbul (19-22 March). It thus promises a good participation as it will represent a major event for European national teams that will take part some weeks later in Istanbul (Turkey).

Brazil will also host the first Premier League event of the PanAmerican Federation in Sao Paolo next July, and will participate, as well as Egypt, in the widening of the Premier League series to other countries and continents.

After 2 successful editions of the Jakarta Premier League, this year it will not take part of the Premier League season due to the organization of the World Cadet, Junior & Under 21 Championships that will be held in the same city in November 2015.

The WKF Premier League

The WKF Karate1 Premier League (WPL) is the prime league event in the world of Karate. It is a series of world class Karate competitions organised by the World Karate Federation. Its aim is to bring together the best Karate competitors in the world in a series of open championships of unprecedented scale and quality. In addition to the World Championships, which are biennial events, the WPL provide a platform for staging world Karate events on a regular basis.

El calendario de la Karate1 Premier League para 2015 ha sido revelad0. Se han previsto un total de 8 eventos. Como es el caso, ya que la creación de la WKF Premier League, París se abrirá la temporada en enero, y este año Okinawa hará el cierre y desvelar nombres de Grandes ganadores de 2015. Sharm El-Sheikh abierto se convierte en el primer evento de la Premier League en África

El primer evento de la Premier League en África se ha esperado desde hace mucho tiempo por todo el continente y representa un paso importante para el karate africano. Esta primera abierta tendrá su sede en Egipto, uno de los países líderes de los últimos Campeonatos del Mundo Senior. Se llevará a cabo en Sharm El-Sheikh el 28 de febrero y 01 de marzo, unas semanas antes de los Campeonatos Senior Europa en Estambul (19-22 de marzo). Por lo tanto, promete una buena participación, ya que representará un acontecimiento importante para los equipos nacionales europeos que participarán algunas semanas más tarde en Estambul (Turquía).

Brasil también será la sede del primer evento de la Liga Premier de la Federación Panamericana de Sao Paolo en julio próximo, y participará, además de Egipto, en la ampliación de la serie Premier League a otros países y continentes.

Después de 2 exitosas ediciones de la Liga Premier de Yakarta, este año no va a tomar parte de la temporada de la Premier League, debido a la organización del Mundial Cadete, Junior y Sub-21 Campeonato que tendrá lugar en la misma ciudad en noviembre de 2015.

La WKF Premier League

La WKF Karate1 Premier League (WPL) es el evento de la liga de primera en el mundo del Karate. Se trata de una serie de competiciones de Karate clase mundial organizado por la Federación Mundial de Karate. Su objetivo es reunir a los mejores competidores de Karate en el mundo en una serie de campeonatos abiertos de escala y calidad sin precedentes. Además de los campeonatos del mundo, que son eventos bienales, la WPL proporcionar una plataforma para la organización de eventos de Karate mundo sobre una base regular.
