La temporada de eventos de Karate de primera clase continuará del 6 al 8 de abril con la anticipada Karate 1-Premier League Rabat. La ciudad de Marruecos será la sede de la cuarta competencia del año con un campo superior en acción en el estadio polivalente Prince Moulay Abdellah.

Setenta y dos naciones estarán representadas con cerca de 600 atletas que tomarán parte en el evento. Entre los atletas para ver, una alineación completa de Grandes Ganadores viaja a Rabat para continuar tomando el centro de atención en la competencia.

La gran ganadora Xiaoyan Yin de China estará entre las favoritas a medida que llegue al evento con el objetivo de ganar su tercera medalla de oro este año. El actual campeón asiático está demostrando un nivel sobresaliente esta temporada desde que el karateka de 24 años prevaleció en los eventos en París y Dubai. La atleta parpadeante que estuvo ausente en el torneo de Rotterdam intentará obtener su tercer triunfo consecutivo este año en la categoría de Kumite Femenina -61kg.

Después de gobernar el Karate 1-Premier League Dubai, Serap Ozcelik de Turquía espera extender su dominio de la categoría Kumite Femenina -50kg en Rabat. El Gran Ganador turco aspira a alcanzar la cima del podio en Rabat después de seguir su bronce en Rotterdam hace apenas un mes.

La ucraniana Anzhelika Terliuga también estará entre los ganadores en Rabat, ya que el medallista de bronce del Campeonato Europeo espera alcanzar el podio en Female Kumite -55kg por primera vez esta temporada.

También participará Ucrania Stanislav Horuna. El subcampeón del Campeonato de Europa es uno de los karatekas más activos y exitosos de este año y ha ganado tres medallas en cuatro apariciones internacionales. Después de terminar en tercera posición en Dubai y París y ganar el oro en el Karate 1-Series A Guadalajara, el favorito de los fanáticos se perdió el último día de competencia en Rotterdam, por lo que el karateka de 29 años espera recuperarse en Rabat.

La cuarta parada de la temporada también contará con campeones del mundo y héroes del deporte en la búsqueda para confirmar sus lugares entre la elite de Karate. KARATE HEROES HEADLINE THRILLING KARATE 1-PREMIER LEAGUE RABAT

The season of first-class Karate events is set to continue from April 6 to 8 with the anticipated Karate 1-Premier League Rabat. The city in Morocco will host the fourth competition of the year with a top field in action at the Multi-purpose stadium Prince Moulay Abdellah sports hall.

Seventy-two nations will be represented with nearly 600 athletes taking part at the event. Among the athletes to watch, a full line-up of Grand Winners is travelling to Rabat to continue taking the spotlight in the competition.

Grand Winner Xiaoyan Yin of China will be among the favourites as she reaches the event with the goal of earning her third gold medal this year. The current Asian champion is demonstrating an outstanding level this season since the 24-year-old karateka prevailed in the events in Paris and Dubai. The flashing athlete who was absent in the tournament in Rotterdam will try to get her third consecutive triumph this year in the category of Female Kumite -61kg.

After ruling the Karate 1-Premier League Dubai, Serap Ozcelik of Turkey hopes to extend her domination of the Female Kumite -50kg category in Rabat. The Turkish Grand Winner aims at reaching the top of the podium in Rabat after following her bronze in Rotterdam barely a month ago.

STAR NAMES IN ACTION AT KARATE 1-PREMIER LEAGUE RABAT 

Ukraine’s Anzhelika Terliuga will also be among the Grand Winners on site in Rabat, as the European Championships bronze medallist expects to reach the top of the podium in Female Kumite -55kg for the first time this season.

Also taking part will be Ukraine’s Stanislav Horuna. The European Championships runner-up is being one of the most active and successful karatekas this year and has earned three medals in four international appearances. After finishing in third position in Dubai and Paris and winning gold at the Karate 1-Series A Guadalajara, the fan favourite missed the final day of competition in Rotterdam, so the 29-year-old karateka hopes to bounce back in Rabat.

The fourth stop of the season will also feature world champions and heroes of the sport on the quest to confirm their places among Karate’s elite. Superstar Rafael Aghayev of Azerbaijan will catch the attention of fans as the five-time world champion will try to improve the third place he achieved in Rotterdam. Meanwhile, Karate Star Alexandra Recchia of France is set to recover from the early elimination at the event in the Dutch city and will also be one of the names to watch in Rabat.
