La idílica costa de Quintana Roo en México recibe a cientos de jóvenes karatekas de todo el mundo en la tercera parada de la temporada de Karate 1-Youth League. No menos de 500 jóvenes de 32 países están registrados para participar en el 2018 Karate 1-Youth League Cancún.

El tercer torneo del año de la serie de eventos que fueron concebidos para resaltar el impacto del Karate en edades tempranas está programado del 26 al 28 de octubre. El 2018 Karate 1-Youth League Cancún será otra oportunidad para ver las futuras estrellas del El deporte en acción.

Los 508 karatekas jóvenes de todo el mundo que participarán en Cancún están divididos en 31 categorías y lucharán por las medallas y por la oportunidad de triunfar en la serie de eventos de primera clase de karate para competidores de 12 a 17 años. El torneo será El sábado, con la primera categoría de Kata y Kumite en juego, comienza en la sala deportiva Poliforum Benito Juárez. Las medallas se entregarán al final de los dos días de competición.

El torneo en Cancún está programado para continuar el éxito de los dos eventos anteriores de esta temporada inaugural de la Liga de Karate 1 2018208. El evento de apertura tuvo lugar en Sofía (Bulgaria) y finalizó con karatekas ucranianos en la parte superior de la mesa de medallas y con representantes de no menos de 21 países que reclamaron las medallas de oro en juego.

La Karate 1-Youth League viajó luego a Umag (Croacia) en un torneo récord que terminó con karatekas jóvenes de Rusia encabezando la tabla de medallas. Por países, los jóvenes karatekas rusos están mostrando poder liderando el conteo de medallas de oro con un conteo de 10 oros, seguidos por jóvenes de Italia, Bosnia y Herzegovina y Croacia, todos ellos con cuatro medallas de oro.

Jóvenes de 28 países han llevado la bandera de sus naciones a lo más alto del podio en los dos eventos anteriores. La 2018 Karate 1-Youth League finalizará en diciembre en Venecia (Italia).

KARATE’S FUTURE STARS MEET IN CANCUN AT KARATE 1-YOUTH LEAGUE EVENT

The idyllic coastline of Quintana Roo in Mexico welcomes hundreds of young karatekas from around the world in the third stop of the season of the Karate 1-Youth League. No less than 500 youngsters from 32 countries are registered to participate in the 2018 Karate 1-Youth League Cancun. 

The third tournament of the year of the series of events which were conceived to highlight the impact of Karate in young ages is scheduled from October 26 to 28. The 2018 Karate 1-Youth League Cancun will be another opportunity to see the future stars of the sport in action.

The 508 young karatekas from all over the world set to participate in Cancun are divided into 31 categories and will fight for the medals and for the chance to succeed in karate’s first-class series of events for competitors aged 12 to 17. The tournament to be held in Poliforum Benito Juárez sports hall starts on Saturday, with the first Kata and Kumite categories at stake. The medals will be awarded at the end of the two competition days.

The tournament in Cancun is set to continue the success of the two previous events of this inaugural season of the 2018 Karate 1-Youth League. The opening event took place in Sofia (Bulgaria) and finished with Ukrainian karatekas on top of the medal table and with representatives of no less than 21 countries claiming the gold medals at stake.

The Karate 1-Youth League travelled then to Umag (Croatia) in a record-breaking tournament that ended with young karatekas from Russia topping the medal table. By countries, young Russian karatekas are showing power leading the gold medal count with a tally of 10 golds, followed by youngsters from Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, all of them with four gold medals.

Youngsters from 28 countries have taken the flag of their nations to the top of the podium in the two previous events. The 2018 Karate 1-Youth League will come to an end in December in Venice (Italy).
