El calendario 2019 de FISU América para el deporte universitario / FISU America 2019 Schedule for University Sport

Los miembros del Comité Ejecutivo de FISU América mantuvieron una nueva reunión de trabajo, la quinta en lo que va de 2018, en la que se realizaron informes de los eventos concluidos y de los proyectos en marcha, a la vez que quedó establecido el cronograma de actividades para el año próximo. El encuentro fue vía Skype, para optimizar tiempo y recursos en los representantes de todos los países y garantizar mayor participación.

En primer lugar, el presidente de FISU América, Alim Maluf Neto, recomendó el cumplimiento de las fechas de inscripciones y pagos para quienes aspiren a participar en la Universiada de Verano Nápoles 2019. Además, manifestó el honor de haber acompañado a la Federación del deporte Universitario Argentino (FeDUA) en la Casa del Deporte Universitario de los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud Buenos Aires 2018.

En ese evento, del cual el tesorero de FISU América, Emiliano Ojea, detalló el éxito alcanzado, se firmó un memorando de entendimiento con la Federación Internacional de Bádminton.

Maluf Neto también reflejó los elogios recibidos por FISU a la organización de los primeros FISU América Games en conjunto con la Confederación Brasileña de Deporte Universitario (CBDU).

La presidenta del Comité de Educación, América Alvarado, actualizó los avances del Comité Organizador del CONDDE para el Foro FISU América, que tendrá lugar en Huixquilucan, México, del 21 al 24 de noviembre, en el que estará presente el secretario General de FISU, Eric Saintrond.

El secretario de FISU América, Sandy Rodríguez, informó las sedes que se han asignado para los eventos de 2019. El diálogo FISU – FISU América será en Colombia, del 21 al 23 de mayo, donde el 18 y 19 del mismo mes habrá reunión del Comité Ejecutivo de FISU América. La tercera Copa FISU América 3×3 será en Brasilia, Brasil, del 10 al 15 de junio. Una nueva reunión de Comité Ejecutivo tendrá lugar el 6 de julio en el marco de la Universiada de Verano en Nápoles.

Este año, la primera Copa Futsal de FISU América será en Misiones, Argentina, del 20 al 28 de octubre. Y en 2020, México y Chile ya han manifestado sus deseos de organizar los segundos FISU América Games.

Por último, el presidente de la Organización deportiva Universitaria de Centroamérica y el Caribe (ODUCC), Gerardo Corrales, valoró el trabajo que desarrolla Ascun Deportes de Colombia para la realización de los Juegos Deportivos Universitarios Centroamericanos y del Caribe, el evento más antiguo del continente.

The members of the Executive Committee of FISU America held a new work meeting, the fifth so far in 2018, in which reports were made of the completed events and ongoing projects, while next year schedule was established.  The meeting was through Skype, to optimize time and resources in the representatives of all countries and ensure more participation.

In the first place, the president of FISU America, Alim Maluf Neto, recommended the fulfillment of inscriptions and payments’ dates for those who aspire to participate in the Summer Universiade Naples 2019. He also expressed the honor of having accompanied the Federation of Argentine University Sport (FeDUA) in the University Sports House of the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018. In that event, of which the treasurer of FISU America, Emiliano Ojea, detailed the success achieved, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the International Badminton Federation.

Maluf Neto also reflected the compliments received by FISU for the organization of the first FISU America Games together with the Brazilian Confederation of University Sports (CBDU).

The president of the Education Committee, América Alvarado, updated the progress of the CONDDE Organizing Committee for the FISU America Forum, which will take place in Huixquilucan, Mexico, from November 21 to 24, in which FISU General Secretary, Eric Saintrond, will be present.

The Secretary of FISU America, Sandy Rodriguez, informed the venues that have been assigned for the 2019 events. The FISU – FISU America dialogue will be in Colombia, from May 21 to 23, where on the 18 and 19 of the same month there will be a meeting of the Executive Committee of FISU America. The third FISU America 3×3 Cup will be held in Brasilia, Brazil, from June 10 to 15. A new meeting of the Executive Committee will take place on July 6 in the framework of the Summer Universiade in Naples.

This year, the first Futsal Cup of FISU America will be in Misiones, Argentina, from October 20 to 28. And in 2020, Mexico and Chile have already expressed their desire to organize the second FISU America Games.

Lastly, the president of the University Sports Organization of Central America and the Caribbean (ODUCC), Gerardo Corrales, praised the work carried out by Ascun Deportes from Colombia to host the Central American and Caribbean University Sports Games, the oldest event on the continent.
