El presidente de WKF se reúne con el Sr. Thomas Bach del COI /WKF president meets IOC chief Thomas Bach

El presidente de la WKF, Antonio Espinós, visitó la sede del Comité Olímpico Internacional en Lausana el miércoles 8 de febrero y se reunió con el presidente del COI, Thomas Bach, para discutir los preparativos para la inclusión del karate como deporte olímpico en los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio 2020.

La reunión fue parte de los contactos regulares entre las dos instituciones debido a su larga y excelente relación. Durante su visita a la sede del COI, el Sr. Espinós también se reunió con el Director de Deportes del COI, Kit McConnell.

WKF President Antonio Espinós visited the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne on Wednesday, February 8th and met with IOC President Thomas Bach to discuss preparations for Karate’s inclusion as an Olympic sport at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, among other topics.

The meeting was part of the regular contacts between the two institutions due to their long-standing and excellent relationship. During his visit to the IOC headquarters, Mr. Espinós also met with IOC Sports director, Kit McConnell.
